RESOLUTION IN HONOR OF
SANTA PERRA-BIRNBAUM
Upon HER Retirement

Whereas, SANTA PERRA-BIRNBAUM has served as a certificated employee of the South Bay Union School District since the 1993 school year; and

Whereas, she has served the district as a Speech Therapist in an exemplary fashion; and

Whereas, she is known throughout Humboldt County for her expertise in Speech and Language Pathology; and

Whereas, she has mentored the regular and special education staff in understanding the needs of students with learning disabilities and speech impairments; and

Whereas, she has served as an administrative designee at meetings and as the district lead for recording and monitoring all special education data reporting requirements; and

Whereas, she is known to be a kind, trusted and loyal colleague who always goes the extra mile for students and staff; and

Whereas, in addition to her excellent professional reputation, she is a wonderful mother and grandmother who, now in her retirement, can spend more time enjoying the blessings of her family; and

Now, therefore, be it resolved that the South Bay Union School District Governing Board wishes Santa Perra-Birnbaum well in her retirement and officially thanks her for her quality of service.

Barbara Moore

RESOLUTION IN HONOR OF
BARBARA MOORE
Upon HER Retirement

Whereas, BARBARA MOORE has served as a certificated employee of the South Bay Union School District since the 1988-1989 school year; and

Whereas, she has served our district in a commendable fashion as a teacher at both South Bay and Pine Hill Schools; and

Whereas, she has contributed greatly to the excellent achievement of the Pine Hill student body by ensuring that each of her first grade students build foundational literacy and math skills; and

Whereas, she has mentored many new teachers throughout the years, including current staff, selflessly extending herself to provide them constant encouragement in becoming competent teachers in their own right; and

Whereas, she has served as the District Mentor Teacher in Writing, benefitting teachers throughout the district with her knowledge and expertise; and

Whereas, she has been recognized by her peers to be a dedicated, trusted and a supportive colleague who has high expectations of her students; and

Whereas, in recognition of her exemplary professional performance, she has been honored by Humboldt County with an Award of Excellence in Teaching;

Now, therefore, be it resolved that the South Bay Union School District Governing Board wishes Barbara Moore well in her retirement and officially thanks her for her quality of service.

Frederick Moore

South Bay Union School District
RESOLUTION IN HONOR OF
FREDERICK MOORE
Upon HIS Retirement 

Whereas, FREDERICK MOORE has served as a certificated employee of the South Bay Union School District since the 1988-1989 school year; and

Whereas, he has served our district in a commendable fashion as a teacher at both South Bay and Pine Hill Schools; and

Whereas, he has supported the positive direction of the school through his dedicated service and expertise on the School Site Council; and

Whereas, he has mentored student teachers throughout his career; and

Whereas, he has provided balanced curriculum, with a special emphasis on history and government; and

Whereas, he has delivered engaging lessons and assignments that spark student interest; and

Whereas, he has consistently provided community based learning experiences for students, organizing and finding funds for field trips that focus especially on science and the environment; and

Whereas, in addition to his excellent professional attributes, he is a wordsmith extraordinaire who supports the school by serving as copy editor;  

Now, therefore, be it resolved that the South Bay Union School District Governing Board wishes Frederick Moore well in his retirement and officially thanks him for his quality of service.
